In addition to being a PhD in Chemistry, a good video editor (see this one), Cliff Kapono is an excellent and very complete surfer, and very versatile when it comes to choosing but also sliding on different boards.

In this video he tries 15, surfs waves of all kinds and rips them all. When it comes to carving, flying, riding giant waves and getting barreled.
