"It was a different year where I was able to live for entire seasons in different places. When the quarantine started, I spent two months at home training every day with my brothers at the tip. As soon as they allowed surfing, I went to my house in Punta Hermosa where I ran at least twice a day with Álvaro Malpartida who always had a filmmaker accompanying him and I was able to get some shots," said Joule about his new video that summarizes the year.

"Then I came to the north on September 4 where I won the maximum with a luxury entourage and here I am, unfortunately I had a serious knee injury now I am strengthening to have surgery at the end of January to return more motivated than ever," he added.

In the clip he is seen piping, carving, flying and attacking the lip in different parts of Peru.
