The waves of La Bocana are populated all day long by the best young surfers on the planet who will compete in the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Surfing Championship starting on Friday.

"The sea was rough, it wasn't clean, there were sea lions everywhere. But as always, everyone got their way. Outside the water were the coaches of the teams from Chile, Hawaii and France and another country that I didn't identify. The strongest was Hawaii, which surfed at a very good level," reported DUKE filmmaker Juani Gayol.

This afternoon raw surfing is coming from La Bocana.
