The Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship began in fun waves at El Sunzal; the best 32 of the event were defined, who continue through the main event and those who from now on will compete for the repechage.

Julian Schweizer hanging up all five to make it into round 2 of the main event.
Cole Robbins shined in round 1 and had the second best score of the day.
Indie Hoffman is inspired and came first, following in the footsteps of her great-aunt, Joyce Hoffman.
American Samoa's Seva Jarred surprised today and made it to round 2.
Sunzal always behaves well.
Carlos Bahía also did it. He got the best score of the day. 
Amado de Jesús Alvarado fell to the repechage but showed good surfing.
Sindy Portillo was the only local who managed to stay through the main event.
One of the surprises of the day, Nico García, Niki Dora, fell to the repechage.
Mattia Maiorca from Italy was another surprise, but positively for him, he made it to round 2 of the main event.
Hiroka Yoshikawa also made it into round 2 of the main event.
Classic? Yes, classic.

Anne Albers from the Netherlands is happy in El Salvador.
Piccolo passed his series first, that's for sure.
Watch out for Joao Dantas from Portugal, a great talent.
South Africa's Sam Christianson moved on through the main event.
Another surprise of the day was Surfiel Gil who fell to the repechage.
