About today's championship: Worse is nothing
It's true that Kelly's pool is boring, as much as I would love to have one at the bottom of an imaginary house, I choose it anyway in the middle of a pandemic
It's true that Kelly's pool is boring, even though I would love to have one at the back of an imaginary house, but it's better to have a championship there than to have nothing at all.
The damn covicho left us stunned with loneliness and entertainment, and, yes, it is true that the championship in the pool was a bore at times, I repeat, it was better than the stupid life of living in a global quarantine.
Just watching Slater surf, even in a small lagoon, is worth gold. Watching Kanoa Igarashi showing that the Japanese have big balls. Watching Toledo win for the first time there, after making a mess of a couple of right-handers. Watching Adriano sharp and motivated surfing very well.
It was good; it was at least okay. And that's better than nothing. It's good to watch surfing, it's good to see our idols live, it makes us breathe and think that normal life was good.
