Adalvo Argolo, current president of the Brazilian Surfing Confederation, was re-elected yesterday, December 30, to his position for the 21-24 period, the organization announced in a press release.
The change in the formula is that now the vice president is Santa Catarina's Reiginaldo Ferreira
Argolo won with 13 votes, followed by Jojó de Olivença, who obtained five seats.
Bahía, Maranhão, Pará, Rio de Janeiro and Santa Catarina, and the eight members of the athletes commission Bruno Galini, Nathalie Martins, Suelen Naraísa e Wiggolly Dantas (Surfing), Carlos Bahia (Longboard), Luiz Phelipe Nobre (Para Surfing) , Ivan Tadeu dos Santos (Stand Up Paddle) and Eder Luciano (Bodyboarding) voted for Argolo.
The election was held online and was attended by one of the competing candidates, Jojó de Olivença and Brigitte Mayer, while the other list, Ricardo Bocão and Paulo Moura, were not present.
Two new members of the fiscal council were also elected: Marco Ferragina and Michael Cardoso.
