ALAS added two longboard stages to its calendar
Both in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and Ceará in November and December respectively
The ALAS Pro Tour has added two exclusive longboard stages to its annual calendar, to be held in November in Rio de Janeiro and in December in Ceará in northeastern Brazil.
The VII Macumba Longboard Surf Festival will take place on Macumba beach on November 20 and 21 and already has 15 registered participants, including the legendary Picuruta Salazar and Piccolo Clemente, and the outstanding Peruvian María Fernanda Reyes, among others.
The paradisiacal resort of Jericoacoara will host the VII Jericoacoara Culture Longboard Surf Festival between December 9 and 12. Both Clemente and Reyes appear on the list of entrants for this tournament.
ALAS will be holding two events in Peru in October and November, and its calendar shows a tentative event in El Salvador in early December and a confirmed event in Mexico between November 27 and December 3.
