ALAS secured two more stages in Mexico in 2021

This was announced publicly at the awards ceremony of the tournament that concluded today in Acapulco.


The ALAS Pro Tour will hold two more events on Mexican shores in 2021, the association reported in a press release sent today after the conclusion of the Acapulco tournament.

It states: “After the award ceremony for the event winners, Karin Sierralta, CEO of the Latin American Association of Professional Surfers (ALAS), together with authorities from the Mexican Surfing Federation, announced two more dates that will take place on Mexican coasts this 2021 season, thanks to the support of the Mexican Surfing Federation, the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Conade) and Azucar de Caña.”

They added: “All the details of these events will be announced in the coming days, knowing in advance that they will be excellent events that will continue to support the surfing talent of Mexico and the entire continent.”

The Acapulco event was the first of the year for the ALAS tour, which has not yet announced any other events besides those mentioned in this article.
