Alejandro Fuenzalida won the trials of the El Buey big wave event
Together with Camilo Hernández and Diego Toloza he qualified for the main event

Pichilemu local Alejandro Fuenzalida has just won the trials of the El Buey big wave event and with this he has made it into the main event of the international tournament that will take place at the same venue between October 11 and November 30.
Also qualifying for the main event were Camilo Hernández and Diego Toloza from Iquique, who came in second and third place respectively.
The final was completed by Diego Tellez, Jaime Paiva and Sebastián Menichetti in that order.
It was a day of waves not as big as expected but with good series coming in.
The swell was good from the south, the locals mentioned in the broadcast, which made for some good breaking lefts.
These three surfers will compete for the title of the international event alongside a select group of guests.
Last year's tournament was won by the Argentine Santiago di Pace in a very close final against the Peruvian Toto de Romagna.
