Alejo won his series against Kanoa

He reached his third round of 16 of the year and will now face George Pittar; with Leo out, Ítalo will leave Tahiti ranked number one.

Argentine Alejo Muñiz won his round of 32 series against Kanoa Igarashi, thus achieving his third round of 16 appearance of the year.

It was a series with few waves in which Muñiz scored 7,07 and Igarashi scored 4.

The result places him temporarily in 22nd position in the world ranking in what is the last round of the globe for the Argentine who has already announced that he will retire after the conclusion of this tour.

On the other hand, with Italo's attack against Luke Thompson and Leo Fioravanti's defeat against Ramzi Boukhiam, the Italian is no longer the leader; Ítalo Ferreira will leave the Tahitian stage in first place.

There are two Spanish speakers left in the men's draw, Alan and Alejo, and the girls haven't gone into the water yet.

According to the Brazilian website AOS Mídia, they will try to finish the event between today and tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.
