The Peruvian guaranteed his best result of the year, Giorgi finished ninth and was one step away from the top 50 and Tudela remained in the top 10
Peruvian Alonso Correa today closed an excellent campaign on the waves of Manly Beach, Sydney, where he placed fifth in a 6.000m tournament that gave him the best result so far this year, earning 2650 points that placed him in 14th position in the ranking.
Correa was unable to defeat the ranking leader, Jadson André of Brazil, in the quarter-finals, who beat him 15 to 11,40.
After having lost one at the Noronha event and in Newcastle, the Peruvian finally regained the form with which he finished the year in 2018.
