A rather challenging entry was then rewarded with a session of good waves at Waimea for Angelina Decesare and her friend Tiger Doerner.

It's worth mentioning: Several of the best in Waimea had a rough time on that sandbar that formed on the Waimea shore.

It's been a challenging winter on the North Shore without many days of Pipe, but Waimea broke quite a bit.
