El Salvador never ceases to amaze. It never ceases, never ceases, and never will.

A while ago we published a note about Bryan Pérez getting a few pipes somewhere in his country (see note here). The note was novel because the local hero showed that his country was not only made up of the most wonderful right-hand points on the planet but that there were also waves in beach breaks.

A new episode of this story arrived in December, in a secret location that has pipes everywhere.

As Chilean Nico Díaz, who is from Antofagasta, where there are always waves, recounted: "We walked along a little path that leads to the beach, and at first light we saw tubes everywhere, we went crazy, we started screaming. We ran to get the boards and, into the water! Running like little kids. It was amazing. We had a great session, tubes everywhere, laughter everywhere."

"You really want to experience a wave like that. I lived in El Salvador for six months and sometimes, from riding a lot of right-hand pointbreaks, you want to ride a beach break and go for a tube. Punta Roca has tubes but there are a lot of people. On the other hand, with tubes everywhere, it was like an amusement park, a skate park, just to laugh and have fun. It was really amazing, I think it was one of the most fun days of my life and one of the most memorable days at least this year," Nico added.
