With two weeks left for the first stage of wave submissions of the Volkswagen Fall Wave and only one significant swell breaking this week in Uruguay, not a single male or female wave has been received yet, which means a great opportunity to make it to the grand final for whoever sends their wave in these days.

According to the rules of the Volkswagen Autumn Wave, the best waves from March, April, May and June will be entered into the grand final of 15 waves. Since no waves have been received for the first period yet, there is a good chance that those who send their videos will make it to the grand final.

Especially considering that only one major bank went bankrupt in the period mentioned.

The Volkswagen Autumn Wave is giving away more than $3.000 in prizes as follows:

1) THE AUTUMN WAVE - Male Category - VOLKSWAGEN PRIZE - USD 1000 in cash for the Surfer - USD 300 in cash for the Cameraman

2) THE AUTUMN WAVE - Female Category - AVANTI PRIZE - USD 1000 in cash for the Surfer - USD 300 in cash for the Cameraman

3) LA OLA DE ROCHA - ROCHA MUNICIPALITY AWARD - USD 500 in cash for the surfer - USD 200 in cash for the Cameraman
