Peruvian athlete Arena Rodriguez has just qualified for the semi-finals of the QS 3000 competition taking place in Praia Mole and has two finals ahead of her.
The first, in the semis, against Laura Raupp, if she loses, Raupp goes to the challengers, if she wins she then has to win the grand final, against either Daniella Rosas or Tainá Hinckel to guarantee herself in the challengers.
With three qualified, and Tainá Hinckel and Sophia Medina already guaranteed, all that remains to be decided is the last position, which Rodríguez and Raupp are fighting for.
For Rosas it is not mathematically possible but she can bet on getting the wildcard that the WSL South America awards annually.
