Argentina's Lucía Indurain achieved a podium in France
She placed third in the Lacanau Pro. Barona, Martino and Criere finished fifth
Mar del Plata native Lucía Indurain placed third in the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro, QS 1500 that concluded today in France. With this result she tied the third she had obtained in Iquique and moved up some 30 positions in the ranking, up to the top 70.
The Argentine's campaign ended in the semi-finals against the eventual winner of the event, Australian Zahli Kelly.
In the quarterfinals, Ecuadorian Mimi Barona was eliminated, but she was also unable to beat Zahli Kelly, and Spaniard Lucía Martino was defeated by Mahina Maeda.
Another Spaniard, Andy Criere, who had just won the QS 1000 in England, finished fifth and added another good result to his campaign to become WSL European champion.
