Argentina confirmed its team for the World Longboard Championship

They travel with a full team, with two women and two men.

The Argentine Surf Association confirmed  its team for the longboard world championships to be held in Biarritz, France, from January 26 to June 2, the ISA reported on its website.

A complete team, with four out of four surfers making up a complete team, will be representing the Albicelestes in the French surf city:

Argentina participated in the last edition of this World Cup, which took place in China, and finished in a very respectable eighth position overall.

And in the previous one, which took place in 2013 in Huanchaco, Peru, they also placed eighth.

Martín Pérez is the current Latin American surfing champion, Teté Gil is a competitor on the WSL world tour and Evelyn Gontier is a shortboarder who is transitioning to the longboard.

*Originally, according to the post on the event's official website, it was reported that they are traveling with an incomplete team. Sources related to the team informed DUKE that there are four surfers, and the best Argentine longboarder of the moment, Surfiel Gil, will be in the tournament.
