Children and teenagers Victoria Muñoz Larreta, Thiago Passeri, Vera Jarisz, Lorenzo Stagno, Cocó Cianciarulo, Nazareno Pereyra, Maia Larripa and Jerónimo Ané were the great champions of the 2019 edition of the Young Guns that took place over two days of fun waves at Honu Beach, Mar del Plata.
Among the list of champions and finalists, we can see the continuation of several legendary surnames of Mar del Plata surfing: Thiago Passeri, son of the five-time Argentine champion, won the under 12 category. In the under 12 women's category, Lucía Galindo came third, Emma Radziunas and Francisco Cosoletto stood out in the under 14 category.
In the older categories, among the ladies, Cocó Cianciarulo confirmed that she is the grom of the moment in Argentina, she won the under 16 and was vice in under 18, beaten by Maia Larripa.
Meanwhile, among the boys, Nazareno Pereyra and Jerónimo Ané won the under 16 and under 18 categories respectively. It is worth noting that Nazareno was Ané's vice-president in the senior team and that this youngster is something to behold.
