Barcelona will have its surfing open this Friday and Saturday
The waves of La Barceloneta will host the tournament that will crown champions in four categories

The organizers of the Open Surf BCN, the Lleuresport Club, have given the green light for the First Open Surf of Barcelona to take place this Friday and Saturday at the classic break of La Barceloneta.
According to reports from various forecasting sites, starting Thursday afternoon a swell of around one metre with a period of between 7 and 10 seconds will cause the most famous wave in Catalonia to break.
According to information published on the tournament website, there is room for 32 open men, 32 open women, 16 juniors and 8 under 14s to participate, so several days of action are expected in the Mediterranean.
Initially the competition was going to be held in February, but since the conditions were not met they had to postpone it.
