Ben Gravy offered sponsorship to Mateus Herdy

$500 per month, a sticker located in the lower two-thirds of the table; the Brazilian does not seem to have accepted

YouTuber Ben Gravy has offered to sponsor one of the best unsponsored surfers on the planet, Brazilian Mateus Herdy, with his clothing line, Stab reported on its website.

The offer included a payment of $500, the use of Gravy t-shirts and placing the brand's logo on the bottom 2/3 of the board.

Mateus lost all his sponsors in recent years, Quiksilver and Red Bull and since then he has been in talks but nothing firm has come out.

According to the story, while filming Stab Highway, Mateus laughed at Gravy's childish clothes and Gravy replied that it was OK for him to laugh, but that old man makes more money than him: “I'm not even a good surfer, but I make more money than you,” he said.

The story ended with a happy ending when Gravy offered him sponsorship.

From what we've seen in Herdy's latest posts, the agreement was appreciated but not accepted because there are no stickers on his board.
