Moroccan Ramzi Boukhiam, Portuguese Frederico Morais and Israeli Anat Lelior joined Kiwis Ella Williams and Billy Stairmand, South African Bianca Buitendag and Peruvian Daniella Rosas on the list of surfers who qualified through the Miyazaki world championship and guaranteed their place with what happened here in El Salvador.

After their Moroccan compatriots were eliminated yesterday, there was no chance that they would take Boukhiam's place. The same happened with Frederico Morais after the defeat of Miguel Blanco and Anat Lelior when her sister Noa Lelior was eliminated.

Ella Williams managed to confirm her place after Saffi Vette lost here and Daniella Rosas after the same thing happened to Sofia Mulanovich.

The finals for Lucca Mesinas, Shino Matsuda and Shun Murakami remain to be determined, since all the male competitors from Peru and Japan are still alive.

In Matsuda's case, she has already lost and left the door open for Mahina Maeda and Amuro Tsuzuki to take her out of Tokyo 2020.
