Despite losing three of its four women and two of its men, as it did not win in either the men's longboard category or the SUP category, the Brazilian team continues to lead the partial team ranking for the Pan American surfing championship.
Unlike last year, when they secured their team victory a day earlier, Brazil will have to fight series by series tomorrow, Sunday, the final day of the Pan American Games, which still has the teams from Peru, Argentina and Canada in a very good position.

The partial ranking by teams is as follows:

The longboard championship was once again won by Piccolo Clemente who had a close series against Uruguayan Julian Schweizer who came very close 15,46 to 15,03; Carlos Bahia from Brazil was unable to repeat his previous performances and was third and Anthony Flores from Costa Rica was fourth.
