Brazil went from having one quarter-finalist in Margaret to four this year
Including Bells makes eight green and yellows among the top 16 in both tournaments, versus one last year

Despite what specialists have said about the possible end of the Brazilian storm, there are no signs of it weakening; quite the contrary.
While the early-year stages were Pipe and Abu Dhabi, a comparison with the exact same stages later in the year showed only one Brazilian reaching the quarterfinals of both tournaments. None at Margaret, and one at Bells: Samuel Pupo.
This year, the same two stages have eight Brazilians, four and four.
In Bells it was Miguel and Samuel Pupo, Yago Dora and Gabriel Medina and for Margaret you have to remove Miguel and put Italo in, the other three repeat.
Both events have half of the Brazilians in the draw.
