Brisa left her long-time board sponsor, Town and Country
It is presumed that he will be using Channel Islands, which was the one with which he ended the year.

The only Hispanic-American surfer in the CT, Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy, has just announced on her social networks that she will no longer be surfing with the Town and Country boards shaped by Glen Pang and that she is “moving on to a new chapter.”
It is presumed that his new manufacturer will now be Britt Merrick of Channel Islands, who made him boards for the finals, although there is no confirmation on this.
“There are no words to truly express my thanks and gratitude to @tcsurfboards @tcsurfshop @gpangsurf for everything you have done for me in and out of the water. Not only for making me magical boards from the start, but for making me feel like family. I wouldn’t be where I am without each and every one of you legends. It is with a saddened heart, but a soul full of memories and gratitude as I move forward into a new chapter,” the Costa Rican wrote.
Hennessy was a junior world champion using the Town and Country boards she entered the CT with and was a top 5 finisher and a finalist on two occasions.
At last year's finals she was seen surfing a Merrick which she used for her heat.
