Brisa Hennessy made it to the quarterfinals of the Billabong Pro Pipeline

He scored the first decent result of his 2023

Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy advanced to the quarterfinals of the Billabong Pro Pipeline after advancing in second place in her opening heat and then defeating young talent Caitlin Simmers in the round of 16.

Now she will face the American Lakey Peterson for a place in the semi-finals.

In her round 1 series it was more difficult for Brisa to find the waves but in the round of 16 she found several, none high but enough to add just over 7 points that were far away from the Californian.

Brisa is coming off a fifth-place finish on the 2022 World Tour, the best season of her career.
