Brisa said goodbye to Margaret River with his fourth ninth of the season
She remains tied for the top spot in the rankings with Nikki Van Dijk and Macy Callaghan
Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy said goodbye to stage 4 of the 2020-2021 world surfing tour, the Margaret River Pro, after losing to two-time world champion Tyler Wright in a close series that was decided by 11,83 to 11,13.
This is the fourth consecutive time that Brisa has placed ninth in the four events that have been held in the 2020-2021 season. It is also the fourth time that the final is a close one.
He lost to Gilmore at Honolua narrowly, to Marks at Newcastle narrowly, and to Moore at Narrabeen, also relatively narrowly.
Today was the closest situation for the Costa Rican to entering the quarterfinals.
After the series was over, needing six and a bit, Brisa greeted Tyler and came out of the water smiling. The Costa Rican leaves Margaret with 10440 points, still tied with Macy Callaghan and Nikki Van Dijk, all three with four ninths.
