Brisa placed third in West Oz and is now fourth in the rankings

He entered the finals zone; it is the fourth third place he has achieved in five events held this year

Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy finished in third place in the Margaret River Pro, the fifth stage of the CT 2024 and with this result she moved up to fourth place in the ranking, entering the final zone, final 5.

This is the fourth third place in five events that the Costa Rican has achieved: Pipeline, Sunset, Bells Beach and now Margaret River. In the third stage in Portugal she had to retire early because she pierced her eardrum.

Hennessy beat No. 3 Molly Picklum in the quarterfinals, but then fell short in the semis against eventual champion Gabriela Bryan. She lost by a mere 11,9 to 11,17.

Now the Costa Rican has exactly one month of rest until the start of the 6th event of the year, the first after the cut, the Tahiti Pro that will take place between May 22 and 31.

The event was won by Bryan who defeated rookie Sawyer Lindblad in the final.
