Salvadoran Bryan Pérez and Argentine Lucía Indurian were crowned champions yesterday of the competitive Latin Surf Festival that took place this weekend in Playa Hawái, Santa Rosa, Guatemala.

In the final, the Punta Roca local scored 14,26 to beat Ticos Óscar Urbina and Samuel Reidy and his compatriot, Daniel Monterrosa, in that order.

Meanwhile, among the women, the surfer from Miramar won, with a total of 12,27, over Samanta Alonso from Panama, Indiana Ferri and Rachel Agüero from Costa Rica, placed in that order in the grand final.

In the junior women's category, Rachel Agüero from Costa Rica won, while in the junior men's category, Tosh Talbot also won. Salvadoran Amado de Jesús Alvarado won the longboard category, Indiana Ferri from Costa Rica won the women's longboard category; in the women's bodyboard category, Beatriz Arleo from Colombia won, and in the men's category, Richard Marin from Costa Rica won.

The SUP races were won by Panamanians Edonays Caballero and Stephanie Bodden.
