Peruvian Camila Sanday was crowned ALAS 2025 champion in advance, the organization announced in a press release published on its website.
By advancing to the semifinals of the El Paredón event and leaving his main rivals far behind, Sanday secured the title.
“I’m super happy. I did the whole tour this year with the goal of becoming champion. This title represents all my effort, dedication, and time that I put into this, and I feel that the ALAS is super special to me,” she commented.
The ALAS press release states: “Camila’s achievement is the result of months of hard work. Just weeks before the Junior World Championships, which will be held in her country, the Peruvian athlete has also benefited from training with her national team. 'I feel that being in full training has helped me a lot for these championships; it has given me a good competitive rhythm.'”
With this, the champions in the open ladies and men, under 14 ladies and men, under 18 men and longboard ladies and men remain to be defined.
