The Resano sisters never cease to amaze with their courage. Last Sunday the North Shore was solid, there were few surf spots and Waimea was pumping.

Candelaria, who had seen her sister Valentina surf the wave last season, was encouraged and went into the water with a 9.

In the following paragraphs he tells a little about his experience.

It will be very rare for one of these girls not to be on the world big wave tour in a couple of years. And watch out, next up is Máxima, who is nine!

How did you make the decision to go out on the water at Waimea last Sunday?
The day before I had seen some really good waves in Waimea and my sister was surfing, I realized that I could surf them too.

What did it look like from the inside?
There was a lot of water movement, it was very different from what I was used to. After a while I got used to it.

How many waves did you catch?
Five.

How did you feel?
It felt like slow motion. The board gave me a bit of a challenge because I had to lean back quite a bit, I felt like I didn't have enough rocker. I also had a hard time turning around quickly on the big board and keeping my position when everyone was paddling fast to the outside..

Which one was the best?
The best was the third one, when I turned around when everyone was going outside and I arrived perfectly..

Now to Mavericks or Jaws?
To Jaws!
