Talented Nicaraguan surfer Candelaria Resano will be the only and very strong representative of her country's team at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship that begins tomorrow and ends on December 3.
Candelaria, who is 17 years old, has a lot of experience in ISA events, which she has participated in since she was eight years old.
She will participate in the Under 18 ladies division.
Last year in El Salvador, under favorable conditions, she finished the event in the top 10, just a few steps away from the medals.
The only one who can compete with the best would be better, although a more favorable wave forecast would be better for her.
Last year, the Nicaraguan team, which participated with 10 athletes, finished the event in 23rd place.
