Nicaraguan Candelaria Resano made the final in the 54th edition of the Haleiwa International Open, which is taking place on the aforementioned North Shore beach these days.
Resano advanced through a highly competitive tournament, passing through round 1 of six surfers, then the round and semis with a strong level to place fourth in a final where he did not find the waves.
The event was won by Ruby Berry.
