And it's already for sale on eBay for $13.500

The French fashion brand, Chanel, has re-launched its own table of luxury surfboard costing $8.900, several international media reported today. The first launch of this board was made in 2018 and it was now presented with a skateboard that costs 7700.

The board's shaper is Philippe Barland, a low-profile builder based in Bayonne, France.

Unlike the one presented last year, this one is silver and is part of this year's spring-summer collection. According to the specifications, it is made of aluminum, fiberglass and polyurethane foam; with the exception of the aluminum, the materials are the same as those of any board from the best manufacturers sold for between $500 and $800.

Before the two models mentioned, Chanel had used boards for its campaigns, in 1990 and again in 2014 when model Gisele Bundchen appeared in an advertisement for Chanel No. 5 perfume with a board with the logo.

There are already people selling the board for $13.500 on eBay (see here).

In recent years, other non-endemic brands have launched surfboards for sale at exorbitant prices. The most recent was Tesla, which sold its board for 1500 at the end of last year, sold out and quickly appeared on the secondary market for more than 4.000.

That board in the photo is for sale on eBay for 13500.
