Chile announced its open and junior teams for this year

These will be the representatives of the Red in Miyazaki and Huntington Beach

The Chilean surfing federation announced yesterday the list of open and junior athletes who will represent the country in the International Surfing Association tournaments.

The statement said the list was reached after “evaluation of the pre-selection process, carried out by the technical team in question.” Each surfer who was part of the process will receive feedback from the technical team via email, it added.

“We congratulate all the athletes who participated in the regional training sessions, national pre-selections and those who will participate in the international surfing events, representing our country,” he concludes.

Chile will compete in the ISA Open World Championships to be held in September in Japan and in the Junior World Championships of the same entity to be held in late October, early December.

There will be Chileans participating in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games, with Guillermo Satt and Jessica Anderson.
