Chilean Tomas Bock made the podium at an event in California

Due to the pandemic, he trains in the United States waiting for competitions to return in the region

Reñaca, Chilean surfer Tomás Bock took third place at the Western United States Surfing Federation event held last weekend, he posted on social media.

Continuing his training outside of Chile due to the pandemic, Bock made it to the grand final after beating Zachary Plis in the semis.

In irregular waves, mainly breaking lefts in the San Onofre classic, he then placed third in the final.

Bock had been a standout at one of the last ISA World Championships before the pandemic.

The Chilean is now training with his father in California, looking to compete in more tournaments to maintain his competitive form.
