Even though the crowd is one of the main protagonists of the swell days on the Gold Coast, there are plenty of gems.

Even more so when the sea is a little rougher and the waves are abundant.

Chilean Tomás Villegas, who had his time as a professional and member of his country's national team, found his good wave, a gift from Alfred, the cyclone.

He went through a first section and then settled for the deep one, walked, walked and came out to the joy of his friends on the beach.
