The press department of the Chilean Surfing Federation has announced the list of open, junior, super and longboarding competitors, both male and female, who will compete in world and Pan American competitions in the different divisions during the remainder of the year.

Selman, Satt, Cross and Araki appear among the open men, Fica, Escobar, Anderson and Borquez among the women (the latter returning to activity after a couple of years away from international events).

Two powerful names who are not even on the bench are Danilo Cerda and Nicolás Vargas.

The youth team has a good team that is very young and will surely look solid next year, with the Díaz brothers, the De la Torre brothers, the young Tomás Bock and Cristóbal Montecinos, as well as Estela López, Esperanza Rojas and Sofía Driscoll.

“It is important to note that the focus of the evaluation was on the surfer's sporting quality and his commitment to the process,” said Fernando Díaz, director of the federation in charge of this process of forming teams.
