Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy begins her first CT under the tutelage of Glen Micro Hall
The former elite member will be his coach in the first division. He will train alongside Owen Wright, Conner Coffin, Sally Fitzgibbons, among others.
The first Costa Rican in history to enter the CT, Brisa Hennessy, will begin her world tour this week in Australia under the tutelage of renowned coach Glen Micro Hall, the Rip Curl brand reported in an interview with Tyler Wright last week.
Brisa, who was awarded the number 99 jersey in the colours of Costa Rica at the WSL gala, will join the team coached by two-time world champion Tyler Wright, Owen Wright, Adrian Buchan, Matt Wilkinson and Conner Coffin, among others.
In the aforementioned interview, the two-time world champion, who announced that she will be out of events for at least the first half of the year, said that she was very excited to know that she would be watching the Costa Rican under Hall's coaching.
For the QS events in Australia, Hennessy worked alongside Hall without achieving expressive results.
The waiting period for the first tournament of the tour begins on April 3, which appears to be at Duranbah Beach instead of the traditional Snapper Rock.
In her first series of the season, Hennessy will face off against Malia Manuel and Tatiana Weston-Webb.
