Daniella Rosas and Santiago Muñiz made the podium in the QS 1000 in Prainha
The Peruvian and the Argentinean shined at the Rio stop of the regional tour
Peruvian Daniella Rosas and Argentine Santiago Muñiz managed to get on the podium of the LayBack Pro Rio, the fourth stage of the QS regional tour, which took place in Prainha, Rio de Janeiro this weekend.
Rosas was runner-up in the tournament against Brazilian-Hawaiian Summer Macedo, Muñiz placed third, losing in the semis to the eventual runner-up, Edgard Groggia.
Rosas lost by 0,13 in very small waves that broke in the final. Santiago Muñiz was unable to beat Edgard Groggia by 14,67 to 12,10. The men's event was won by Joao Chianca.
The Peruvian is now eighth in the regional ranking and the Argentine seventh. The result did not make any major changes at the top of the rankings, which are still led by Miguel Tudela and Sol Aguirre.
