Daniella Rosas: First foreigner to win the Banco do Brasil circuit

With her fifth title at the QS 4000 in Espírito Santo, Peruvian Daniella Rosas became the first foreigner in history to win the Banco do Brasil circuit, the WSL reported on its social media.

The tour runs separately from the regional WSL and only awards points in stages sponsored by the brand.

“Daniella Rosas is the champion of the 2025 Banco do Brasil Surfing Circuit!”, exclaimed the WSL on its Instagram @wslbrasil.

He added: “With dominant performances from the first stage, the Peruvian made her mark and was crowned overall champion of the 2025 Banco do Brasil Circuit ahead of schedule. She won two important titles this season (Maresias and Imbituba) and became the first foreigner to etch her name in the competition's history. Congratulations, Dani!”

Daniella is currently in third place in the ranking, a position she reached after the Espíritu Santo tournament, and days later it was announced that she had won the circuit, which is annual.

The regional ranking ends after the first quarter of 2026.
