This is how the women's round 1 and 2 went in Huntington Beach today

The women took to the water for the first time after two days of ISA World Surfing Games and defined the top 32 who have not been defeated so far.

Lucía Indurain won her series by a wide margin against, among others, Hawaiian Zoe McDougall.
Ornella Pellizzari advanced to round 2 of the event, placing second in her heat behind Kirra Pinkerton.
Erin Brooks is coming off a final at Padang Padang, backflips at Waco, and wins her debut heat at Huntington.

Samanta Alonso from Panama was doing well in the perfect conditions of the morning. Later, the Panamanian was relegated to the repechage.

Sol Aguirre started off very well winning her round 1 heat but fell to the repechage in round 2.
Havanna Cabrero also made it through her round 1 heat and then fell into the playoff in round 2.
The conditions at HB were incredible at times.
