Disadvantaged by the conditions, Peru did not start well in the Backdoor Shootout
They were in the last series of the day, when Pipe was already out of control
The Peruvian team was clearly disadvantaged by the time they had to go into the water yesterday, Saturday, on day 1 of the Backdoor Shootout.
They were in series 8, with part of the big swell already in Pipe and wind conditions far from optimal.
Alonso Correa surfed two waves that will not count towards the end of the event and those two were the only ones that Inkateam rode.
They are expected to return to the water today, Sunday, December 5th.
