Don't let it happen to you: A blow in El Buey with Tiago Bitencourt
It seemed like it wasn't going to work out, but it ended up breaking giant on the outside peak of Arica and the Brazilian had to pay.
“It was glass, very slow. Waves were coming in, but the set was five meters long. Tiago and Mat came in early, alone, thinking that it wasn’t good, but after a while the bombs came in. He had a borrowed board, I saw him pay and I thought something had happened to him, but he continued surfing one more wave, very relaxed. He told me that it was one of the hardest tumbles he had ever suffered,” said the local filmmaker from Arica, Máximo Tapia. “Nothing happened to him, he almost drowned… It took him a while to get out, he was dragged,” he said.
