El Salvador, one of the richest countries in waves in the world, opened its borders
Here's what you need to know to surf the best warm water rights on the planet
The waves of El Salvador have reopened for surfers from around the world, with limited connectivity, with corresponding restrictions that seek to respect the protocols of the World Health Organization, but finally free and open to all those who want, can and meet the requirements to surf them, The country's tourism ministry reported on its website.
With only locals in the water, the Central American country's dozens of breakers are virtually empty at the moment.
As of September 19, land borders were opened and commercial flights began to be received, and connectivity is expected to expand as of this month.
To enter the country, you must have a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to boarding the plane and, once you arrive in the country, your body temperature must not exceed 37,5 degrees.
This is reason enough to arrive and immediately surf Punta Mango or Punta Rocas or El Toro, Las Flores, El Zonte, Km 59 and a long etcetera of dream waves.
Currently, flights are arriving in El Salvador from Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, Fort Lauderdale New York, Managua, San Francisco, Guatemala, Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Newark.
Establishments in the main surfing towns have also reported that they have opened, respecting protocols.
