El Salvador returns to the CT in 2025; fourth consecutive year in the elite

Calendar confirms mid-year cut after Stage 7; Lowers returns to regular season alongside Snappers and JBay; Abu Dhabi opens as second stop

For the fourth consecutive year, the waves at Punta Roca in El Salvador will be in the first division of the world tour, the WSL has just confirmed in a press release.

The event will take place earlier than usual, between April 2 and 12.

The CT Tour will feature more events than in the past 10 years, with 11 regular season stages plus the Fiji finals already scheduled for August 27-September 4.

What Globo had reported several months ago has been confirmed: The mid-year cut will be made after the seventh stage to be held in Margaret River between the 17th and 27th.

Rumors such as Abu Dhabi, the return of Snappers, Lowers, and Jeffreys Bay were confirmed.
