Eurosurf is defining the European qualifiers for the Surf City El Salvador ALAS Global Finals.

The organization's president, Karín Sierralta, is in Portugal to present tickets to the eight qualifiers; "Surf City El Salvador and ALAS continue to make history," she declared.

The European Surfing Championship, also known as Eurosurf, is currently taking place in Santa Cruz, Portugal, and not only will the regional champions be selected, but the top qualifiers will also be selected for the ALAS Global Tour final, the Surf City El Salvador ALAS Global Finals, which will take place in Punta Mango, El Salvador, from November 17 to 23.

As previously announced, in addition to the best from the ALAS continental American tour, the four best men and four women from Europe, Asia, and other invited guests from around the world will compete in these finals.

Karín Sierralta, president of ALAS, traveled to Portugal to witness the event and award the prizes to the qualifiers. From there, she told DUKE: “Surf City El Salvador and ALAS continue to make history. This time, Surf City and ALAS have reunited to make the dream of hosting a global tour final with top-level surfers on the incredible wave of Punta Mango a reality.”

“Having seen the tour emerge from its early years as a small event that later grew to a regional scale, I'm thrilled to be taking this step, which involves achieving an event of global scale and relevance like the one we'll be hosting in El Salvador, which is being developed in every corner of the world,” he added.

“I'm very happy to be inviting the best in the world to raise the level of the region and for everyone to compete for a trophy that will be even more prestigious, like the ALAS Global Finals. I can only thank Minister Morena Valdéz and President Nayib Bukele for their commitment since day one, when they took office in 1,” Sierralta concluded.
