FENTA announced the construction of two more high-performance centers

They will be in Huanchaco and Pacasmayo

The Peruvian surfing federation, FENTA, announced that among the plans of the new administration is the construction of two high-performance centers that will be located in Huanchaco and Pacasmayo.

These two centers will join the existing one, located in Punta Rocas, which was left after the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

The news was shared by the technical spokesperson of FENTA, Richard Navarrete, and by the president of the federation, Elfri Navarrete.

"We will continue to build these places that will be very useful for our Peruvian and international athletes," said Richard Navarrete.

Meanwhile, the president-elect of FENTA commented that negotiations with private companies are already well underway to finance these centers.

One of the main explicit objectives of FENTA, according to Elfri Navarrete, is the decentralization of surfing in Peru; that is, to achieve surfing capitals all along the coast and not to have everything happen in the Lima area.
