FENTA plans QS 3000 in Pacasmayo in 2025
Everything indicates that it would be the first QS in history on the perfect and long left
A QS 3000 with a 10-day waiting period and four days of championship is in the plans of the Peruvian National Surfing Federation, FENTA, for 2025, reported the technical spokesperson of the organization Richard Navarrete at the closing ceremony of the South American youth championship.
The event would be added to those already held in 2024 in Lobitos and Huanchaco, which were key to determining the ranking in all categories of the WSL South America.
It would be, according to DUKE's primary calculations, the first time in history that a world-class left wave QS has been performed.
Pacasmayo, although well known among visitors to Peru, has just gained enormous fame after the visit of Gabriel Medina, three-time world champion, to the wave.
