Filipe Toledo is in Costa Rica

The two-time world champion began his journey in Santa Teresa and is now in Tamarindo

The current world champion, Filipe Toledo, has been in Costa Rica with his brother and friends for a few days now.

He was first in Santa Teresa, as he himself showed on social media, and now he is staying at the Cala Luna hotel in Tamarindo.

Toledo was joined by his family, wife and two children, today after they had some problems with Alaska Airlines, according to his own complaint.

This is the fourth trip Toledo has made since returning from Hawaii when he announced he would not compete in the rest of the circuit this year due to mental fatigue.

Toledo was in Mexico, in the wave pool in Waco, Texas, spent a week in Tahiti and now he traveled to Costa Rica.

His father, Ricardo, had said he would spend time training in Tahiti but with 25 days to go until the start of the games he only spent about seven days there surfing mostly small waves.
