Filipe Toledo returned to live in Brazil
After 11 years, he left his home in California and settled in Rio de Janeiro.
Two-time world champion Filipe Toledo is moving back to Brazil, although not to his hometown of Ubatuba but to Rio de Janeiro, reported Carlos Matías of SurfeTV and confirmed yesterday by AOS Media based on information from F77.
Matías explained that he doesn't know the neighborhood but that the surfer has his bags packed, he even shared a photo of his pregnant wife ready to travel, and begin the return trip.
At a young age, around 18, Filipe had gone to live in San Clemente, California, where he made a base to travel the world and become one of the best surfers in Lowers.
Matías does not specify the reason for his return, nor the neighborhood where he will live, although he heard it could be Barra da Tijuca.
The reason can be presumed to have to do with the fact that his wife Ananda Marçal is from Rio de Janeiro and has just had a new child.
